Pricing

One monthly price per business, agreed before you start

No per-minute meter, no per-call charge and no surprise at the end of a busy month. What you pay is set when we set you up, and it does not move because your phone had a bad week.

The number

We have not published one yet

TurnTaker is not open for self-serve signup. Every account so far is one we set up by hand, and the price is part of that conversation.

What goes here when it is set

A monthly figure for a standard account and a figure for a pilot. [REVIEW: pilot rate and standard monthly rate] Until the founders set them, this page will not carry a number, because a number here is one somebody budgets against.

There is no billing screen in the product and no card on file. An account’s price is a field we set, your dashboard never shows it, and you will be invoiced the way you agreed with us. [REVIEW: how invoicing actually happens]

What an account is

  • A TurnTaker line your number forwards to
  • An agent we write with you, from your own answers and rules
  • Every call recorded, transcribed and kept in the dashboard
  • Messages, callbacks and transfers, with your own words for urgent
  • Notifications by email, SMS or a signed webhook
  • Everyone on your team, by role, at no extra charge
  • Us, when something is wrong

Limits

What a limit is, and what happens at it

Your account carries switches and counts. The dashboard shows them as sentences — “3 of 5 lines” — and never as a price.

Lines

How many numbers reach TurnTaker. Most businesses start with one and add a second when a location gets its own.

Locations

Each with its own hours, holidays and transfer destinations, or following the business's.

People

How many of your team have an account. Roles decide what each of them can change; none of them costs more.

Agents

Most businesses need one. A second is for a genuinely different manner — a sales line and a service line are not the same conversation.

Switches

Recording, texts to callers, texts to you, webhooks, reports, booking integrations. Each is on or off for your account.

Changing one

Ask us. Turning something off that is in use is refused until the thing using it is gone, rather than quietly breaking it.

A switch that is off changes the screens it gates rather than nagging you about an upgrade: reports lose their tab, a channel is not offered where a recipient is added, and a text your agent is not allowed to send is marked as not offered rather than hidden.

The questions we get

Before you ask

Is there a per-minute charge?
No. A month where your phone runs hot costs the same as a quiet one. If your calls grow enough that the price is wrong, we will have that conversation rather than sending a larger invoice.
Is there a contract?
The terms of service are with our lawyers and are not published yet. Until they are, what you would be agreeing to is what we write down with you.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. We set an agent up against your own hours and answers, give you a number, and you ring it. Nothing touches your real line until you forward it.
What happens if I stop?
You unforward your line at your carrier and your calls ring your phone again, the same minute. Ask us for your call history and we will get it to you.
Do you charge for the setup?
That is part of the conversation about the price, and it has not been set either.

Tell us what your phone does

How many calls you miss, when they come in, and what most of them want. That is enough for us to tell you whether this is worth paying for.
